I've tried to search for star citizen performance tips and ive done the things that pop up like turning off v-sync and setting the gpu to 'high performance' but those do nothing.
Yea this is basically what I changed it to and its still not working. Check the box of 'Override the scaling mode set by games and programs'. its still a tiny box in the center of the screen. In 'Adjust desktop size and position' tab in Nvidia control panel set the following options for that resolution: Fullscreen. I even tried to set the resolution in the user.cfg file. It doesnt matter if i choose window, borderless or full screen. playing the game this way the FPS is around 20 to 30, it only goes up to 60 if i look directly at a wall. When i choose 1920x1080 the game only runs in a window.
I figured id lower the resolution down to 1080 and get some FPS back. My issue is this game STILL runs at 10-20 FPS, i tried to take my ship out of the hangar and it blew up and i got disconnected. It was running at like 10-20 fps and crashed all of the time.Ī ryzen 9 3900x with a rtx 2080 super and 32gb of ram. It was a i7 4770k with a GTX 1080 and 16gb of ram. I got this game awhile back but i never really played it because i didnt really have the system.
